Our committee is a small group of volunteers from various Christian Science churches in the State of Florida who have some experience in prison ministry.  Our desire is to help and support others interested in this holy work.  

Excerpt from our Articles of Organization

“The structure of the organization is: a not-for-profit under IRC 501 (c)(3) as a joint committee of the branch churches of Florida for carrying out institutional activities of the branches of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts (The Mother Church). An IRS ruling of April 16, 1979 concluded that contributions to such an organization is deductible under the Internal Revenue Code as a contribution to a participating branch of The Mother Church. This organization is wholly subservient to the Florida branch churches and societies of The Mother Church.”
